The hotel is amongst the best we've stayed in. The room is comfortable with great views over the gardens. The food is good, but what makes the hotel outstanding is the service from the staff. They are very friendly and attentive, nothing is too much trouble and you are always greeted with a smile. The hotel has a unique thermal pool with a constant 35-40oC temperature. We were greeted by a friendly lady behind the desk who showed us up to our room. The room was a generous size and modernly decorated with a king size bed with big soft cushions. The air conditioning was a welcome relief from the heat. The bathroom was excellent - I loved the shower and the shower gels and lotions provided (GreenPark) ! Staff were really helpful. When we were allocated a different room to the one we booked they changed it immediately. It was also my 60 birthday while I was there. My husband arranged a meal for me . They went all out to make it special for me and also made me a lovely cake. The location is wonderful with stunning views. An excellent hotel can’t recommend highly enough. Hi everyone. This hotel is located in the north of the island and easily accessible from the capital, Ponta Delgada in 20 min by car mostly in a motorway. Its right on the coast with a beach a few meters away. There's nothing bad to mention about this hotel. Its clean, friendly and full of the right amenities for a place with this classification. The apartment was really nice, clean, modern and spacious for 4 of us. The air con was good and kept us cool and we got great WiFi signal. We had a 1 bedroom apartment with reduced mobility, our room did not have a balcony which we definitely missed. But you can probably be specific on your booking if you want one. Wonderful holiday with lots of hikes around lakes and along beautiful trails to waterfalls. We loved the hotel. Our suite was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed and great bath. We had enough space to do yoga each morning. The staff were very pleasant and helpful providing information about hikes and tourism. Marcia was an absolute gem and looked after us so well. Beautiful island and a relaxing weeks holiday.
