"I originally booked my stay at the Rising Sun Inn because I was in the area to see Van Morrison. What I didn't expect was how much I'd enjoy everything else the hotel has to offer. The inn was comfortable, welcoming, and a great base for exploring the beautiful countryside. "Eckington Manor is a lovely hotel with very nice rooms, set in beautiful grounds, a short distance from Cheltenham. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. As the hotel is a little remote, we decided to eat in the hotel. The food was excellent as was the breakfast. Would definitely recommend and will no doubt return if we are in the Cotswolds."

"We had a wonderful one-night stay. We had a double room with ensuite, which perfectly suited our family of three. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and were great with our young daughter. There is plenty of parking and the pub itself is gorgeous and full of character. The breakfast was incredible - had the Full English, which was so tasty, and there were lots of continental and lighter options too. It’s an absolute gem of a place, and one we’ll definitely return to."

"Strikingly looking hotel. Unfortunately on entering reception, we were greeted with a dirty carpet, which carries on into the bar area with lots of stains. Our room was up 2 flights of stairs, which I wasn't aware of when I booked. Therefore, in this heatwave, the room was an oven. There was a desk fan - 'thank goodness'. Pleased with the room, the layout and amenities. Curtains need seeing to, useless and need blackouts! All the staff were pleasant and hard working. Did not expect a buffet...

"Firstly, it was lovely to stay in an independently owned hotel where the staff clearly have great pride in their hotel and ensuring that guests are happy with their stay. Everyone was charming and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and the evening meal, although not an extensive menu, was freshly prepared and nicely presented.
