"The apartment was great, conveniently located for Newcastle City Center (within a short walk, or short hop on the Metro), Jesmond Metro station and restaurants and cafes in the local area. Check in via the adjacent Holiday Inn was quick and efficient and access to parking (free with the apartment!) was easy. One minor gripe - when we set the sofa bed up, the mattress was dirty, covered in dust and food crumbs from the previous stay. Otherwise the apartment is comfortable and in a good...

"We booked this as a large group and it didn't disappoint. The apartments were well laid out with ample space in the living room areas. There was great cleanliness throughout and areas stayed at a nice temperature. The accomodation was really quiet at night and the key system although awkward at first was easier than keys. "The check in was fast and friendly, the room is lovely, with a nice view. There was quite a lot of noise from the street below early in the morning and the church bells were regular throughout the night. The breakfast was a good amount but lukewarm spolt the vibe. The price we paid , i think was high for this standard."

Spoke to Andrew the owner , very nice bloke . If we are going back to the area we would definitely stay here again . "

"We had a brilliant stay at the Hygge, it is tucked in the corner surrounded by open countryside, just beautiful. The quietness was appreciated and lovely. The Hygge itself was spot on, well maintained and very clean. We found it to be a very comfortable and practical place to stay. We could have easily spent longer there and look forward to returning "

"Cleaning was not good enough, webs in showers and mould. Stains on sheets and the dishwasher was not working. We was forced to pay for cleaning, despite all this. Dont recommend this, we felt cheated on."

"Flat was spacious, but dated, and is located in an undesirable area. Cleanliness was generally okay but decor etc could do with upgrading and flat may benefit from being aired regularly. We got the impression that it had been a while since the windows had been opened."

"Fabulous house in a lovely location, it was perfect for long walks . The house is very roomy with fab decor. Close to a lovely restaurant we we popped in gor drinks and food a few times over the weekend. Will definitely return in the sumner months."
