"Breakfast not worth it. The building is old, so clean for how old it is, I think? Things are just kind of falling apart, the toilet felt like it was going to come off the floor, the towel rack did fall off, but the jetted tub was in great shape and lovely so could have been a newer addition. Signage for the phone at check in is not clear, we are very educated people, but were made to feel very stupid when we didn’t go around the outside to the left 2 corners of the building to see the phone to call for check in. Then our reservation wasn’t found because she didn’t “hear” my last name correctly until I spelled it. Just overall an unwelcoming arrival, but that’s the only contact we had to have so that’s fine. The resident deer are sooo cute and come for apples and goodies and obviously have been there for years. I don’t think we will go back, we live locally but just look for a few days away from home now and then.. but it was just ok."

"Didn't use the hot tub. The breakfast was just what I ordered and it was excellent."

"The staff at the lobby were extremely kind, helpful and provided tips on how to navigate the trail at the Lime Kilne state park. The rooms are super clean and fresh. I will come back to the same place again. The countless coffee choices and food choices at their cafe. I will be back here again."

"The contactless arrival was easy. Parking was limited. The property was quiet and super convenient for walking to the ferry and town. Water pressure was good and bed was comfy. Upon check out, staff were friendly. I’d stay here again!"

"Everything was delightful. I was received most graciously out on the road because I could not find the place. The room was extremely pleasant with those touches that make it feel really cozy like a white robe and slippers. I had not told them that stairs were difficult for me so they had me on the third floor, but when I requested a first floor unit, they immediately switched me down without any hassle. "

"Yes the property welcomed our 18 lb. Havanese. However the Shaw Suite where we stayed was very disappointing. I would consider it very shabby…chipped paint on kitchen cabinets…old rickety dining chairs.. Ancient mattresses that were very saggy and uncomfortable…the bathroom is a horror…cracked and moldy wall by the shower…tiny, ancient and dingy bathroom. Although the Inn is pet friendly…the pet friendly room we stayed in was not human friendly at all! Our to go breakfast however was very special…wonderful yogurt, granola and delicious muffin! We were grateful for that. The exterior of the Inn is charming…however the interior in general,is very tired and definitely in need of a major upgrade. "

"It was a clean simple motel stay with excellent water access and a nice view of Fisherman's bay Only complaint was our upstairs neighbors were a bit loud (I suspect they were locals) but we were off-season on a Friday night, it was fine."

"Nice location on the island. should consider tv's as there's not much to do after dinner. most of the stores/restaurants were closed mid week during out stay."
