"The area is nice. Its a village outside Dubrovnik about 35 minutes away by bus from the Old City. Its close to the beach. There's 1 grocery store and 1 restaurant that only serve during supper and needed advance reservation . The caretaker does not speak English at all. You need a goggle translator. The towels were crunchy Bring soap and conditioner as its not provided. It would be nice for the host to give some overview of the area . We felt that they don't care at all every time we ask them....

"Parking in Dubrovnik is a major issue. Although we had ability to park on-site, other guests had to be so tight in proximity that we were blocked in until owner could get another guest to move for us the next morning. Room was quiet, comfortable and clean. A bit strange arrangement for shower, that did not allow curtain to close off part of cabinet area behind it. Water heater empties fast, so be prepared to be quick! Owner very positive and helpful, offering to drive us where we needed...

"We arrived late and soaking wet due to weather and transport issues. Our host kept in communication and stayed back to meet us and provided extra towels and a warm welcome. Location was opposite the bus station which made arrival and departure easy. Local bus was a 20 minute ride to the old town. Restaurants and supermarkets close by."

"We arrived at Soleil Luxury Rooms after midnight. We let our host know that we would be arriving late and she provided us with all of the instructions needed to access the room. Our driver dropped us at the Buza Gate and we had to walk down a lot of stairs to get to our room. Even though it is a much longer walk, I recommend using the Ploce Gate as the stairs are very limited. Once in the room, it was spacious and private.
