The room was clean and comfortable for the most part, although I found a pair of dirty men's underwear under the bed. Room was a bit small but very conveniently located with plenty of affordable food options within walking distance. Staff were very helpful and gave good suggestions for places to see on our trip.

Check in staff was helpful. Hotel had a good vibe. Only complaint is there was some hair in the bathroom sink and a bottle cap on the bathroom floor which makes me think they did not do a good job cleaning.

This hotel is nicely renovated. Easy to walk to Hollywood walk of fame. We also visited Disney and Universal easily. Good restaurants in the area. We didn’t have time to use the pool, but it looked lovely. Friendly staff. Good underground parking for a rental car. Option of stairs or elevator. The elevator is fairly slow. The rooms were nice and clean. Would definitely stay again.

Room was great and clean. It did get very noisy at night with the In and Out next door and a lot car noise, noting that we had a room at the back of the hotel. At the time there were issues with the elevator doors not opening every time, although only being two storeys it was easy to use the stairs.

Room was spotless and had a lot of amenities that most hotels do not have. It’s was fun and lively. I stay at most palihouses when I can palihouse and Palihotel do have a difference, if you are retired and looking for more of a quiet and not in the heart of Dt maybe look into the west Hollywood location but this one was just as great. The staff was beyond amazing I would give them 10 stars if I could.

I didn't have a balcony. Staff was great. The elevator didn't work and the room appeared bigger online than in person. It was a bit overpriced for the offering, but I had a great stay nonetheless. Finally, parking is not free, it's $40 a night.

I stay here a lot. Clean, super convenient, excellent staff. The elevator needs to be replaced. It breaks OFTEN and the current certificate of inspection is out of date by six months.

Palihotel Universal is one of my favorite hotels. The rooms are roomy, comfortable and decorated beautifully. We always choose a balcony room overlooking the beautiful pool. The staff is exceptional and treat their guests like good friends. The dining menu is small but the food is excellent! Absolutely would recommend this hotel and will be staying here anytime I’m in LA.

Overall, the hotel was nice and met our expectations. The hotel's central location, courteous staff, clean room, and convenient parking made our visit to LA more enjoyable. The interior courtyard pool area was relaxing and provided a nice place to get away from the city. It would have been nice to have a microwave in the room. Also, we could have gone without the fridge being filled with pay goods preferring it had been left empty for our own stuff. Some features of the room were strange. The wall space where a narrow 2' poolside window had been installed could have easily accommodated a full size 4' sliding glass door. Additionally the full size glass on the bathroom door left little privacy.

This is my first time staying at this hotel. I was very amazed how very clean and nice this hotel is. The staff was friendly and very inviting. The bartender made me delicious drink and very refreshing. I was I able to try the breakfast but next time I will.
