"I had a good stay overall, but there was one serious issue. Around 2 a.m., someone opened my door and tried to enter my room. I reported this to the receptionist, but was told there are no CCTV cameras in the common areas. For the safety of guests, I strongly recommend installing security cameras."

"The view of the hotel ia mind blowing. The rooms are cozy, warm and clean. I would love to stay there again. You need to know that the surroundings of the hotel have change, is more developed so that means more noises... But nothing too loud to handle. The food service is terms of food, everything is so good! But it's slow, in my opinion it goes well with the idea that you go there to relax and enjoy the view... So just be aware that it might take a while. You have other hotels nearby...

"Habitacion limpia. No comi en el restaurante porque los precios de desayuno empezaban en Q90 y justo en frente habia un restaurante donde los desayunos estaban a Q50 y muy completos. El restaurante estaba solo, creo qeu deberian considerar ser mas competitivos con sus precios en el restaurante. Otra recomendacion seria tener habilitada el area donde hay como un canopy, porque yo quise ir a trabajar con mi compu a esa area, que es otro extension del restaurante, y abrian hasta las 9 a.m. y solo...

"The place is basic, with a bathroom with very low water pressure, noisy at times, great view of the volcanoes and Lake Atitlan from the terrace, convenient walking distance to the lanchas piers, some good restaurants and tiendas, tourist-oriented shops, and yes, from the Panajachel river paragliding departure and landing facilities. The breakfast selection was really basic, either chapin or American, with anything extra like orange juice for an extra fee. One morning we had to wait way past 30...

"Socialtel in Lake Atitlan was AMAZING! It is a beautiful place, very helpful kind staff, clean, spacious, and in a great location. They have daily activities and you get a free welcome cocktail. My favorite part was breakfast! Where else can you get free breakfast of steak and eggs?! Ooof, elite experience! Will definitely recommend or come back! Thank you so much!"
