"Hotel Ilunion Malaga is in the perfect location within walking distance of the old city on one side and the beach on the other. We stayed in a junior suite, room 703, and the balcony had a lovely view towards the beach. Breakfast was perfect with everything from cereals, continental style and eggs, bacon, beans, etc. The only negative from my stay was the coffee. "Although it’s a beautifully renovated building in the residential part of the old town of Velez-Málaga, the photos are somewhat misleading. Pool is a jacuzzi that is no longer functioning. Ground floor rooms are dark, with no views and portable air conditioning units. There was no wifi in our room—only in the common areas. Parking can be difficult."

"Honestly, I was really looking forward to this stay and was disappointed. The first floor is extremely loud if you’re facing the main street and you can hear people walking on the floor above you. When I complained about the noise from above and the people next to me along with the street, the staff asked me if I tried closing the window, I did. Also, I emailed asking about finding pool/beach chairs and was told that I could ask upon arrival. There was no pool."

Warm onthaal van personeel; kamer en badkamer groot, schoon, voorzien van diverse Rituals producten en zelfs de handdoeken ruiken fris (dat is in hotels wel eens anders..); dakterras fijne plek om te zitten; goede locatie net aan rand centrum voor iets meer rust maar even oversteken en je staat in de foodhallen. "Beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of old town. Our bathroom had a stand alone “Prince” bath tub. Felt like a country cottage. Even though you are in the heart of old town, the rooms had great sound insulation. I would definitely stay there again. Your lady friends will love it!"
