"Hotellet ligger perfekt når man vil besøge Matala by eller vil bade på Matala strand. Værtsparret er helt fantastiske og ved ikke alt det gode de skal gøre for deres gæster. Der er en super god atmosfære og der er en dejlig have man kan sidde i, både når man skal spise morgenmad eller slappe af i løbet af dagen. Der ligger en overvåget parkeringsplads 50 meter fra hotellet, hvor vi gav 5 euro i døgnet for at holde.

"While we were there our son went into medical distress. The staff at the store and the reception desk were absolutely amazing. So kind, caring, and thoughtful. My son and I didn’t get to finish our stay there but they sent food packages with the rest of our family for our hospital stay. At the end of the day, a hotel is just a hotel….it’s the staff and people that make the experience. 10/10 experience. "
"The views from the hilltop were spectacular and we loved sitting outside with our delicious breakfast. Our accommodation was spacious and comfortable and as the final days of our trip this was a perfect wind down. I would love to go back for longer"
"Außergewöhnliche Lage mit traumhaftem Blick auf Meer und Gebirge, wunderschöne Anlage mit mehreren separaten Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten in Ferienhäusern/-wohnungen, jeweils mit Terrasse/Balkon, sehr großer Pool und extra Kinderpool, großer Grillplatz, viel Grün.
Die offiziellen Fotos geben das sehr zurückhaltend wieder. Für uns viel schöner als erwartet.
Äußerst sympathische und aufmerksame Gastgeberin, super Service, regelmäßige Zwischenreinigung.

"Stunning property in a newly restored old house. Beautiful, spacious and well-appointed room. The common areas were comfortable and there was a lovely balcony. The breakfast which was beautifully served on the balcony was beyond compare. Local, fresh, and delicious Cretan treats. Archanes is close to Heraklion and the palace of Knossos and had plenty of dining options. We were in Greece for three weeks and our night at Carpe Diem was probably our best stay. Can’t recommend highly enough. "
"We arrived after a late flight into Heraklion, the welcome was warm with the offer of a cold welcome beer. The room was more than we expected woth plenty of space and good amenities.
Morning arrived and we had a fabulous breakfast out on the deck admiring the view over the valley. We only spent a night here bit wish we could have had 1 more.
