"Auberge de la Baie is the closest hotel on the mainland to Mont Saint Michel. It was easy to walk to the bus lot from the hotel. The hotel had a nice breakfast and comfortable beds. The staff were very helpful. When we realized that there were not restaurants in walking distance from the hotel, the staff helped us order a delivery from a restaurant. Added bonus, there is a sheep farm nearby with some very cute lambs."

"Charming old hotel. Main staircase is a little wobbly and hallways needs updating. There was a sign commenting on updating in process. Staff were excellent. Only challenge with facilities was the super hot air temperatures 95F and no AC. Rooms were hot and staff did try to accommodate by bringing in a fan."

"Small rooms…little room for two suitcases. Basic but adequate breakfast. Easy location…easier to drive to town center. Good for night before WWII beaches. AC not very strong. Noise could be heard from outside hotel (guests watch TV, horses at vet clinic) and inside (kids on a field trip enjoying the next room over!) Adequate, but nothing special."

"The room was clean, staff was polite. Does have air conditioning, but it doesn’t work very well. No hair dryer in the bathroom. Breakfast was not very impressive."

"We were a family of 4 staying at this hotel and were assigned room 216 which had an extremely small space with two twin beds. In the upstairs or loft section of the room there was a queen bed. The loft area had a bit more space but it was challenging to carry suitcases up 20 steep stairs. We would have managed though this but the worst part of our stay was that it was unbearably hot in the bedroom - especially in the loft part of the room. We requested a second fan for the loft section and were...
