"Rented a cabin for the long weekend. NOT what we expected based on the online pics of the cabins. Did not have the "Maine cabin" vibe at all - more like 1980s RV interior design. Vertical blinds on sliding doors were missing some sections so no real privacy. Bed was very uncomfortable. Hot water lasted about 3 mins, so showering or washing dishes was tricky - to say the least. "We had a pleasant stay overall. The room was average in terms of cleanliness, as we noticed some dust on a few surfaces and utilities, but it was generally comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Parking was excellent, with plenty of spaces available, and the hotel is conveniently located close to the highway, restaurants, and shopping, making it easy to get around. "This property was gross to be honest, run down and stunk like mold/mildew. The room itself was very nice though. It was clean and recently updated such a stark contrast from everything else on site. There is no elevator or swimming pool. Plenty of food options and a grocery store right next store though. We did not try the continental breakfast though because I wouldn’t eat anything that was stored or prepared there. If they are currently fixing it up then maybe someday it will be a nice place...

"The hotel is claimed to be a 4 star but it’s not more than 2. Location is nice but rooms were less than the average of a simple motel. If you’re lucky, you’ll get a room on the first floor and have a partial view of the hills and pool, I say partial because they have built a tent close to the pool and attached to the building, so it blocks the view. If you’re unlucky like we were, you’ll get a room at the pool level (basement) and have the window just blind, facing the inside of tent, and paying...

"I appreciate it being pet-friendly. I didn't have a dog with me this time, but it may be a possibility in the future. The desk clerk was very friendly & helpful regarding places to eat. The only thing I didn't like was the rail in the shower at elbow level; I hit it a couple times...ouch! Other than that, it was great!"
