"I only stayed one night so I can only comment on a few things. Our room was clean and the staff I engaged with was friendly and helpful. One disappointment was that there is a $9 fee for a parking pass for their lot. I think that’s ridiculous. I travel often and I’ve never been charged a fee to park in the hotels lot."

"Several issues made this a disappointing experience. The bathroom exhaust fan was not functioning, making the bathroom stuffy and unusable. More concerning, guests were openly smoking marijuana at the main entrance, which was unpleasant and inappropriate. We were initially assigned a room on the 3rd floor, but a group of young men were loitering in the corridor, whispering comments like "a family is here" when they saw us — which felt uncomfortable and unsafe. "Breakfast was actually better than other hotels in this segment. The breakfast staff was accommodating, but the hotel staff was checked out, not really engaged in what they were doing, rather indifferent. The hotel lacks clarity on how their amenities are accessed, ex. Wifi, having room made up, getting fresh towels etc. "

"The breakfast menu was fresh and plentiful! Breakfast was very hearty! The parking was ample and safe! The hotel itself needs some updating, however it was clean and priced accordingly. The staff was very helpful with assisting us on places to visit or dining out selections. The staff were very friendly! I enjoyed my stay at Best Western Springfield!"

"Wonderful place to stay, staff were wonderful so friendly and accommodating! Breakfast buffet was the best we've ever had at a hotel. Parking lot was full, very busy hotel but still didn’t have to park to far away from hotel. Very safe location, could walk to just about any thing you wanted to eat, or they would shuttle you if needed. If we head that way for another vacation we will stay here again. "

"The hotel is located in a quiet area. There’s an abandoned building nearby. The room was clean and spacious. The only problem we encountered was the water. It only gave us lukewarm at first. It seemed as if the shower level is stuck and couldn’t turn all the way to the hot side. I called the front desk to fix it, but the maintenance personnel couldn’t come til the next day. "Very clean hotel, staff is great and attentive, paying for parking is a drag though."

"No coffee in the AM during breakfast. Could not grab a yogurt cup to go. That institutional yogurt dispenser was very unappealing. I don’t think it would kill you to have a brand name single serve yogurt available on ice. I ended up going to the local Starbucks to get a decent cup of coffee and a yogurt that I could eat while on the road."
