"I trust the Moxy name. I stayed in one in NYC and loved it. It’s always unexpected, unique, quirky and trendy. The lobby is on the sixth floor. The lobby and adjoining bar area is so warm and comfortable. Everything you need. This hotel was located on the top of King Street on outskirts of city. I have stayed in Charleston many times and found this location to be walkable and close enough and affordable enough to enjoy my time. "

"Great hotel!!! Would stay over and over again. The rooms are modern, spacious and uniquely laid out. The staff was always friendly and quick to say hello. The bar is a nice touch and staff was very nice there as well. The drinks were stiff too. The pool area is clean and well kept. The beds are comfy and the pillows aren’t flat. I never tried the breakfast. Highly suggest. "

The only confusion I had was that I prepaid for breakfast and didn't tell them at the breakfast nor was I asked if it was prepaid.Thankfully, I confirmed at checkout and they refunded my breakfast charges. Had I not done this I would have double paid for breakfast. The breakfast was very good and thankfully NOT a buffet but fresh to order. My kids loved it."
