"The staff is attentive and gracious. The upstairs room with balcony, very nice though the room often needed better sweeping. My impression is many people come for the weekend —washing and hanging clothes everywhere and couples with screaming children who take over the pool. Otherwise it’s a very lovely spot, great location."

"The room was clean and the staff was very cheerful and helpful. The variety of food offered at breakfast and dinner was fine, but we thought the food a bit bland. The lattes in the morning were not hot as one would expect. We loved our room and the setting and loved the shuttle service, which was prompt and always available when we needed it."

"Fabulous stay. The room was huge, comfortable, clean, and bright. The river view from the balcony was magical - one doesn’t even need a river cruise as the views from the room and Hotel itself are so good! The staff are excellent - they’re very well trained, polite, friendly, and efficient. Staff went over and above on many occasions and made the stay very enjoyable for us. The hotel is 5 minutes away from the main town centre and the hotel offers a free shuttle all day long to pick & drop. My only suggestion is to improve the restaurant within the hotel. I ate lunch twice and was not impressed with the food quality. A top class hotel like this should have a high standard restaurant. "

"Khamsone and his wife run a very peaceful and clean place. I stayed in the Marigold suite and the morning sunrise was beautiful. Highly recommend staying here if you’re okay with staying outside of the main center."
