"The property is centrally located in Lucca, a walled town. The instructions for entry into the property were very clear. The units are on the 1st floor, but this is Europe and they have 0 as ground floor and there is no lift. Driving within Lucca is a challenge, but that is part of the charm. Parking can be a challenge, but once you figure it out, it’s not bad. All in all, it was an amazing experience. The A/C struggled to beat back the heat, but that was typical for Italy in August. ...

"Lovely Characterful property in heart of Lucca. The staff were very helpful and quick to move us to a different room due to plumbing issues . The breakfast was good with a variety of choices . We were in good walking range to tourist sites and also very close to a very good pizza takeaway !"

The shower had great water pressure, and I loved the light cotton towels, which dried very quickly. The location is fantastic — right in the heart of Lucca and within easy walking distance of the main sights, restaurants, cafés and shops. It was particularly convenient being able to come and go easily during the day.
