"Beautiful old chateau. Very comfy beds.
No one around when we arrived. Had to wander the grounds looking for someone to check us in. We were offered a soft drink when the lady finally arrived. Never met the owners during our two days stay. We presumed they must be on holiday. Previous reviews were not the same as our experience. "
"Unknowingly we were there during the LeMans race week. The gentleman at the desk was a wealth of information about the race and the cars that were parked in the lot. Dinner and breakfast were on site which was very convenient.

"Wonderful holiday at a fabulous place – everything you could wish for: friendly, genuine, helpful hosts who went out of their way to make our stay such a success and such a lovely family who have carefully and thoughtfully restored this absolute gem of a holiday retreat. Gorgeous rooms and beautiful pool too, all in an idyllic location on the banks of a tranquil river in the prettiest village we have visited in France. Been holidaying in France regularly for over 30 years and this was the best...
"Le Moulin Bregeon offers a unique opportunity to stay in a converted water mill. Much thought and attention to detail went into the decor and restoration. It's off the beaten path and can be a challenge to find so prepare beforehand as it was not listed in our GPS. It is also a long distancel to the nearest city and popular sites.

"This is an absolute gem of a hotel. This was our fourth time staying and we are looking forward to visiting again as soon as we have an excuse to be in the area."
"Olde world building at the centre of the village.
Very friendly staff and very clean room and communal areas.
Very good breakfast.
One of the staff booked a table in a near by restaurant, due to it being a Sunday and not many places open on a Sunday in France.
Would I stay here again, a definite yes."
