"Slechts voor 1 nacht maar wat een heerlijk hotel. Het zwembad is prachtig, alles goed schoon en weten was ook goed, zowel ontbijt als diner. Zou er meteen weer naartoe gaan. Ook mooie aankleding en fijne sfeerverlichting, dat zie je niet overal in Sri Lanka. Kan niks noemen wat beter zou kunnen. We waren ook nog eens de enige gasten dus koninklijk gevoel"

"We stayed here for a few days to go to Yala National Park and Hotel Elephant Eye was a great location for taking a SAFARI Tour. The owner is very friendly and the staff are very hardworking. The property is very well maintained. Room was clean and comfortable. We had breakfast in the restaurant. Easy walk or Tuk tuk to town for restaurants and grocery stores."

"Sehr schön gelegene Lodge mit sehr schöner Aussicht. Leider hatten wir in der 2. Nacht Ratten im Zelt was weniger schön war..es wurde sich aber schnell darum gekümmert. Zudem sind die Einheimischen in der Umgebung anscheinend sehr Partyfreudig, weswegen es manchmal bis 23 Uhr sehr sehr laut war! Schade… aber alles zusammen ein guter Aufenthalt."

"This is fabulous hotel! Very picturesque, clean, modern and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The pool is a great size with a modern gym. We stayed here for easy acess to Yala national park which is only about 20 mins away. "

"Seemed the best hotel in the area. Room big with a terrace leading to the very attractive large pool with the lake and a tree house to climb. Monkeys about who were fun to watch. Breakfast more to Asian tastes than mine but French toast, potato’s, fruit and breads available.It was very quiet during our stay with more staff than guests! Good choice for Yala but recommend the wild edge restaurant opposite in the evening for a drink."

"We were there for a quick over-night to go on a safari in the early morning. The evening meal was poor, in fact it was take-out from another supplier and not prepared on the spot. The box breakfast was poor. The room was fine. We did not use the pool. It is quite far from the nature park so requred a long drive to get to the safari. Generally it was OK for the price. Just have realistic expectations."

"Very friendly and efficient manager, beautiful outlook, sadly we could only stay one night. Beds were a bit hard for us, but plenty of very hot water for the shower. In at 4:30pm out at 5:00am for Yala Safari. "

This significantly impacted my holiday. I was also required to spend time locating pharmacies and purchasing treatment products and medication.
