"Went there as a family and booked two rooms overlooking the ocean (2nd floor). It was magical. Comfy beds, beautiful ocean and sunset views, great pool and direct beach access, and wonderful staff who were always on hand to help. Breakfast was brilliant - fruit platter, fresh juice, choice of eggs (recommend the Sri Lanka omelette) and pancakes. "A beautiful property with very attentive and considerate staff. The area itself was very quiet. If you are looking for somewhere with a lot of shops/restaurants in walking distance, this is not the property for you. But the quiet was a nice change of pace for 2 nights on our journey. "

"We returned for our 4 day Mirissa trip and stayed at Central Beach. The hospitality, atmosphere and comfort was wonderful during our last stay and once again, met our expectations. The restaurant has really good food, variety, fresh seafood, and kind, helpful staff. This hotel has a beautiful beachside location, is a walkable distance to stores, restaurants, a doctor and gift shops. We are definitely going to be repeat visitors. "
