"Arrived at the hotel to be told we didn't have a booking and they had.not been on your books for 4 yrs Advise by owner and taxi driver that it was not safe for us to stay in the area as it was the poorest part of town We had to find alternate accommodation late in the afternoon at a cost of over $600,this was a very stressful situation for 2 females I have used Expedia several times in the past with no problems I feel that i should be re embursed for out of pocket expenses"

"We arrived at the location to check in and the groundskeeper could not understand why we were there. We called the number listed and the owner didn’t k ow why we were there and said that he rpirperty wasn’t even listed on Expedia!!! BUT Expedia deducted the money from our account!!!! So we looked at a room that was open (which was the room we booked) and it was being used as the trash room!!! Stacked to the ceiling with debris and trash!!! It was the worst service and experience to date...

"I reserved this guest house for my little brother's first night in Lusaka. He was arriving late unexpectedly (was supposed to be 10PM, but was actually midnight). I tried calling and messaging the guest house with their contact phone, but no one picked up and there was no way to leave a message. When my brother arrived there was no one at the gate and the place was dark and he couldn't get in. So he had to go elsewhere. I know it was non-refundable, but he tried to sleep there and couldn't.
