"Great location set on a hill near the airport, with wonderful views out to sea. The staff are fantastic, the Indian restaurant on site does great food, and it’s a small, tranquil place to spend a few days. The rooms are a little dated and relatively small, however the a/c worked very well and my room had a huge balcony with a day bed, loungers and a table to work on. Be warned that there is no lift up to reception, so you’ll be carrying bags up quite a few steps. "

"My wife and i stayed at the Island House for our 20th anniversary. While it wasn't close to a lot of the stuff we wanted to do, we don't regret staying there at all. The staff were exellent and the resort was perfect."

"Loved that this property is smaller and quieter. The views from the resort are amazing. Its super clean as well. Traveled here with a toddler and enjoyed our stay. If you’re looking for a resort with activities though, this will not be it. This is more of a relaxing, get-away feel and its what I loved most about it! "

"The stay was lovely. It's was a little confusing to figure out the way around and which pools were which. I had one idea that could actually be helpful for making dinner reservations - what if you sent an email with all the dinner options that could provide a way that make online reservations? I know you can do that piecemeal but there are so many wonderful restaurants it would be nice to be able to access the list of choices without having to figure out what to search for. "

"AMAZING place to stay. Beautiful, safe and clean. The AC worked amazing and the water pressure was great. The pools are beautiful and the option for breakfast in the morning was such a luxury. The beds were SUPER comfortable and the property was beautiful. The trees offered fresh delicious mangos for your eating. "The property is on the South, and more rural side of the island. It’s about a 30 minute drive from downtown or the big fancy resorts.
