The location of this hotel is great for Lyon and the history of the hotel is amazing. The bar in the hotel was a highlight. For a five star hotel (and the price per night) there were some significant downfalls:
-One day after my room was cleaned the door to the room was not closed, was able to just open the door without scanning my key to get in
-The courtyard has music playing 24/7, even with the window closed it was loud enough to make sleeping hard
-For a hotel of this level not having the ability to chrome cast is unfortunate (making movies only available via renting seems like a cash grab)
-At check out I was notified of charges for the restaurant and room mini bar on my room when I never ate at the restaurant nor used the mini bar during my stay
Unfortunately I would not recommend this hotel to stay at in Lyon. Definitely take a tour of it if you’re visiting, but choose a different hotel for your stay.
