Urban Residences Maastricht
Urban Residences Maastricht"Convenient location in centre and well equipped apartment. Able to reserve parking space in a nearby covered car park. Good sized apartment, only caution is that there is a steep spiral staircase between the kitchen and rest of the apartment. Also a number of steps up to apartment so not suitable for anyone with limited mobility."

Dormio Resort Maastricht
Dormio Resort Maastricht"Fabulous place and facilities - just wonderful! Only thing that I would have found useful to know prior to arrival is that you only get starter provisions such as shampoo, toilet roll & washing up liquid so if staying longer than a couple of days you will need to stock up on more of these."

Corneli Residences Château St. Gerlach
Corneli Residences Château St. Gerlach"Superb new flat but poor without no milk or microwave - not everyone in the world drinks black coffee! Superb hotel and treatments but poor service upfront in the email on line booking - fortunately on arrival by having to escalate everything we got our special meal and spa -but don't know why the "total guest service" agents failed before then by neither responding nor booking what we asked for"

Dormio Wijnhotel Valkenburg
Dormio Wijnhotel Valkenburg"Amazing hotel, excellent service, welcoming and professional staff, location few minutes walking to the center, rooms are wide and perfect, breakfast is excellent with all varieties ,i really recommend it very strongly for families and friends ."
Where to stay in Maastricht

Wyck
Cross the Maas River to discover historic Wyck, one of Maastricht's oldest areas. Charming cobblestone streets wind past well-preserved buildings that date back centuries. This fashionable district balances rich heritage with trendy independent shops and art galleries. The Bonnefanten Museum anchors the area's cultural scene with impressive art collections. Cosy cafés and intimate bistros serve local Limburg specialities along the scenic riverfront. Two train stations make exploring the rest of Maastricht incredibly easy.

Binnenstad
Binnenstad captivates visitors with its medieval charm and Roman roots. The car-free historic centre invites exploration of cobblestone streets and the magnificent Basilica of Saint Servatius. Golden limestone buildings frame Vrijthof square where cafés and cultural life flourish. This cultural heart of Maastricht blends Dutch, Belgian, and German influences throughout its architecture and cuisine. The 13th-century Helpoort gate stands as Europe's oldest city gate. Locals still speak Limburgish dialect in cosy brown cafés while church bells chime across stone squares.

Jeker Quarter
The Jeker Quarter is a medieval gem where cobblestone streets wind alongside the gentle Jeker River. Ancient city walls and 17th-century merchant houses create an intimate atmosphere that feels frozen in time. This well-preserved Dutch area offers peaceful exploration away from Maastricht's busier areas. Wander through hidden courtyards and past historic landmarks like Helpoort, the oldest city gate in the Netherlands. Artisan workshops and traditional cafés occupy weathered brick buildings with ornate gables. The quarter's narrow pathways and small riverside gardens make it perfect for travellers seeking authentic charm without the crowds.

Stokstraat Quarter
Step into medieval Maastricht in the exclusive Stokstraat Quarter. This well-preserved historic district charms with cobblestone streets and 17th-century buildings. Elegant shops and upscale restaurants now fill these ancient merchant houses with ornate gables. The quarter centers around a pedestrian-only shopping street where luxury boutiques occupy medieval facades. Visitors can explore intimate courtyards hidden between buildings while admiring Renaissance architecture. The nearby Basilica of Our Lady stands as a must-see landmark in this atmospheric area.

Vaeshartelt Maastricht
"Ideal location for ourselves and our 2 dogs the hotel grounds are absolutely superb as was the room ,staff very friendly and efficient. Breakfast had plenty of choice our really great overnight stay and experience, thankyou 25€ per dog per night I thought was a bit expensive"
NH Maastricht
"The Andrè Rieu package was very well done. The hotel was very accommodating in allowing us to stay in the same room, although we had booked 2 nights separately from the concert package. And they gave us an upgrade at no extra cost for one of the nights when there were no similar rooms to our package room. They made everything easy and the food overall was great as well."
easyHotel Maastricht City Centre
"The hotel was excellent. Staff was wonderful. We loved the hotel. The greatest amenity was it was so close to everything that you could walk to a different café every day you were there. Next time we come to Maastricht we will definitely book this hotel again. Can’t say enough good things about the staff the amenities and the location."
Hotel The Dutch
"The rooms were very well appointed, bathrooms were excellent. Towels and bedlinen were very clean. The breakfast was excellent and staff were unbelievably helpful."
Novotel Maastricht
"Having read the two awful reviews that Accor place prominently on the web site we were naturally concerned, although we are loyal Novotel clients. However our concerns were completely unnecessary. The parking was easy out front, the reception staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and well-equipped. We enjoyed the pool and bar area and had a big screen TV all to ourselves to watch England play Norway. So all in all the hotel exceeded our expectations and we enjoyed our stay. One negative comment - we were told the very high room prices were because Andre Rieu was performing but the hotel was sparsely occupied so the logic of market demand was incorrect. However, looking at hotel prices in general in Maastricht for that period our rates were reasonable. Highly recommended for a wonderful Maastricht experience."
