"State Fair was running and hotel was crowded. But the staff managed the flow very well, and the breakfast area was spotless and never short of food any morning/always well stocked. Tough to ask for more really just a pleasant stay. Notable (though I did not use) was a very large assortment of drinks/snacks/chips etc available 24/7 in the lobby store. Rooftop bar in neighboring Home2 Suites is a nice perk (picnic tables, tvs, firepit)a nice place to go after dinner to talk with friends, but...

"The property overall is very good shape. However, there was a tv on 100% of the time in the workout room as the remote is missing. Front desk personnel seem to be aware of it. On our last day, we noticed phone in room did not work and it needed a replacement was necessary but apparently required some approval.
That said, one of the front desk, Anna, was spectacular in getting whatever support we needed and made a big difference in out appreciation for the stay."

"The bed was not the best quality, it didn’t have a spring or cushion to it. It made my back hurt. The A/C rumbled all night, at first I thought it was a train going by. The breakfast food was good but the coffee wasn’t good. We went offsite for coffee. It’s a place that I would stay at if traveling through, just for the night . But not to visit the area for any duration. It’s not a place that I will use again"
