Khách sạn Macrozona Lago Argentino , El Calafate

"Everything was great, helpful and friendly staff. I felt comfortable and relaxed as needed. Really nice view from the lake and amenities were good too"

"The front desk staff were good and helpful. The room is decent for the price in the area. Breakfast is OK but a bit limited in choice. We used the restaurant once in the evening and would not recommend it, especially if you don't speak Spanish. The food was good but it was a constant back and forth (made worse by lack of Spanish on our part) to get different parts of the meal delivered. One caution - don't use the taxi service the hotel recommends as they are very unreliable. The hotel should...

"Excellent place. Amazing staff, beautiful lovation, easy safe 40 min walk to downtown. 7500 ars taxi. We loved the view and quietness. The food was really good and priced well. The bed was not the most comfortable one, probably need to replace some mattresses soon but it was un uncomfortable, very clean lively place."

"Lovely room with a view of the lake. Comfortable bed, very small shower. Great pool, spa was hit and miss, sauna working, steam room shut. Good breakfast. Free shuttle into town in the evening. Helpful staff. "

"Omg what a dump! On the surface it's good, but once you get to the room 😱 Our first "suite" on the upper floor smelled of poop. Had a hot tub coz we paid extra. Bathroom door stops halfway coz the toilet is right there! No hand towel bar or hook, no hook on the dilapidated door. Bed was ancient. The decor was ghastly from the 1960s. When we tried to fill the hot tub, it kept draining. The jerk receptionist checked and found the stopper wasn't there. No instructions given even when we asked....

"Stefan was great. A true front desk representative."

"They communicate well - we were checking-in almost a day late because our flights were rescheduled. Messaged them on whatsapp to inform them and they were kind to hold our reservation, even though we were 24 hrs late. "

"El trato del personal excelente"

"We had a good stay, hotel is very well located, right in the center of the town. We visited for 3 nights at the end of March. Rooms are clean, and very warm. When I booked we couldn't find double rooms anymore though, so we ended up with a twin. Breakfast is not very varied and mostly sweet, but after spending 3 weeks in Argentina I realised that it's normal. But overall we felt safe in the area, we could walk everywhere, and staff was friendly and welcoming."

"The property is clean, the neighborhood looks safe. I unknowns if the hotel has a parking lot."
