"Very special place 30 or so minutes outside of Kandy, near Wattegama. A few individual cabin-esque rooms (with en-suite) around a cute courtyard of natural spring pool, pond, hammocks etc. Very attentative hosts who really demonstrate Sri Lankan hospitality at its best. The walk around the spice garden and local village was so interesting. Such a unique bonus to make this more of an experience than just a bed for the night. Nice sitting area close to trees with monkeys passing through. Staff very courteous and helpful, they arranged an elephant safari for us the same afternoon we arrived. The hotel is quite far from any other hotels or sights - Sigiriya is about 40 mins - so there’s no walking to eat anywhere else but you could get a tuktuk."
