"The staff was very helpful. There's a 24 hour paid parking lot right behind the hotel if you need parking (we used this - 5 EUR/day) The location is quite central and walking distance to the city center (~15 - 20 mins)"

"Loved it, room was gorgeous, staff very very friendly and helpful and all spoke excellent English. Breakfast was good, pool areas were great. Access to the sea is about a 5min walk and through a neighbouring hotel, Funchal town center is about. 25min walk away. Plenty of restaurants are nearby however. One of the most comfortable hotels I've ever stayed at, would happily revisit"

"Vielen Dank für die super entgegenkommende Serviceleistung. Nachdem in der Nacht um 3:00 Uhr unser Abflug gecancelt wurde fanden wir dieses Hotel, um einen Tag länger auf den Abflug zu warten. Obwohl wir regulär erst um 14 Uhr hätten das Zimmer beziehen können wurde das erste freigewordene Zimmer am Morgen für uns hergerichtet und so konnten wir schon um 9:30 Uhr das Zimmer beziehen und wir uns vom Stress der Nacht ausgiebig erholen. Nochmals herzlichen Dank!!!"

"Superbe séjour à Madère. Magnifique île ! Concernant l’établissement, nous avons été enchantées par nos vacances à l’Allegro ! Tout y est parfait. Sa localisation géniale au milieu de commerces et restaurants. Bus à proximité et possibilité facile de rejoindre Funchal à pieds. Ensuite le personnel est incroyable ! Accueil, gentillesse, franchement le top ! Propreté de la chambre : rien à redire ! Piscine toujours propre ! Cuisine très bonne et les boissons également (cocktails, vin et ponchas)...

"We loved staying at the Aqua Natura Bay in Porto Moniz. The infinity pool has an spectacular view of the North side of the island. Rooms were clean, beds and pillow were comfy. Delicious breakfast included. The only thing I would like to point out is the parking limitation. However, they offered to pay for parking outside the hotel property. "Parfait endroit pour un séjour paisible à Sao Vicente. L'ambiance calme qui y règne nous donnait envie de chuchoter. La vue de notre chambre était magnifique, surtout au lever du soleil où pouvait admirer le "montain glow". Le déjeuners inclut était composé d'ingrédients frais et variés, comme les fruits du jardins et le yogourt maison. Nous y avons passé deux nuits et on aurait voulu rester plus longtemps! "
