"Excellent Hotel. Very friendly staff. Very easy access to downtown. Took us 10 minutes to walk to downtown cable car site. If you need any supermarket items, the mall is right downstairs and there is a nice supermarket there also. There is filtered water on every floor in a machine.The breakfast is also excellent. Great coffee machine, selection of fruits and cheeses and breads, as well as numerous hot entrees. Also, very big plus was we rented a car and used the free parking in the downstairs...

The hotel, though rated as a three-star establishment, boasted a reception staff that provided a five-star level of service. "Bon Hotel bien placé dans Funchal. Pensez par contre à bien reserver d’avance par mail ou téléphone si comme nous vous avez loué une voiture de location car il est assez difficile de se garer dans le quartier ou il faut passer par le centre commercial qui vous facture 15euros. "

"Das Hotel ist auf einem Hügel. Oben angekommen hat man eine wunderschöne Sicht auf Ponta do Sol. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit. Die Pools sind wunderschön und im Hotel ist es angenehm ruhig, dass man sich richtig entspannen kann."

"Le cadre avec vue panoramique des montagnes est magnifique. Le petit-déjeuner est très bien avec du choix. Possibilité de diner au restaurant de l'hôtel avec une cuisine locale et de qualité, l'équipe du restaurant est très sympathique et serviable. Le jacuzzi était parfait après une journée de visite, si la piscine était aussi chauffée cela aurait été un plus. Merci pour l'accueil, à recommander."
