"Loved! Hotel was amazing! Staff were fantastic. We ate at hotel restaurant on the roof top, and the food was fantastic as well. Highly recommend this hotel!"

"The staffs were amazing, gave us a little gift on our checkout. They were very attentive, kind, and amazing. It was the best hospitality in Madeira (funchal hotels were horrible in comparison). The room was nice and clean, with amazing (at night a little bit scary) view of the ocean and waves. I highly recommend!"

"This was possibly our best hotel experience ever. It was my husband's 50th birthday and management helped to make it truly special.The hotel room and facilities were stunning. The Cliff Bay is very well located, on a beautiful bay a few minutes walk away from the port area (I would recommend this distance away from the cruise ships). We enjoyed a couple of meals from room service (best burger ever...and we've tried many). On the opposite side of the scale, the Il Gallo D'Oro Michelin experience...

" Melia Mare should really be the first choice holiday accomodation! We felt very friendly atmosphere there. Reception team helped us with a small favour with a smile, room was tidy, balcony view great. Great place!!"
