"Beautiful location within easy 5-10 minute walking distance to downtown Bayfield shops, restaurants, and the ferry to Madeline Island. We were there for peak fall leaves color. The view of the lake, the island, the small marina, the trees, and the sunrise from the cozy furniture on the deck outside our door was amazing. It is a motel, so there is the potential for noise from the vehicles that park outside the rooms, but it was a non-issue. Our stay was peaceful, pleasant, and perfect."

"Light switches were strange. Could not turn on bathroom without turning on ceiling lights bright. All the on line connections seemed too much and confusing. Restaurant wascgreat"

"The room was cold, and we had to get someone to come and start the heat with the air conditioning unit. The bathroom was very small. My husband was cold during the night and the bedding wasn’t warm enough. There was something ( two cupcakes) left in the refrigerator. The clock was at a time that was incorrect and you couldn’t get it to get the correct time, and so in the middle of the night , the alarm went off two times! Beautiful view, the window needs cleaning."
