"This hotel was what I would call budget, although not budget friendly. I get it’s a tourist town and costs more. The bed was low, uncomfortable to sit up in bed. Tv and internet were not working well. No ice in the ice machine, but front desk clerk was helpful in getting some. Shower worked well, but not much room to put essentials as it was pedestal sink. Front porch was cute with swings. Both front desk clerks were friendly and helpful."

Finding the lodge was very easy, and it’s conveniently located right down the street from the park entrance, which was a huge plus. If you stay here, I would recommend parking on the street because the parking inside the property is extremely tight. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast cost $15, but it looked pretty basic for the price, so we decided to skip it. The room itself...

"The property was absolutly amazing. I was able to upgrade to a larger cabin. The managers are like family and very helpful. I stayed her to visit yellowstone and the extra drive to West Yellowstone was more than worth it and was a great decision. Amazing view!"

"We had a minor issue with our fridge but the maintenance guy was over quickly and we were well taken care of. Our TV had some strange issue where the sound didn’t come through on about half of the channels but we didn’t stay there to watch TV anyway. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. No breakfast but we were aware of that ahead of time and there was a dynamite place next door. Great sports bar nearby for dinner. Not near a lot of options but it was a great stay nonetheless. "What a delight to stay at Under the Canvas West. The staff is super helpful and accommodating to your needs. We loved the glamping experience. Our tent had an indoor bathroom which met our needs. The small wood burning stove kept us warm at night. This is a great option if you like camping but want a slightly elevated experience. I would definitely stay here again."
