"Very, very clean and spacious. Comfortable rooms, beds and great location. We really enjoyed our stay!!"

"The property is fabulous, but I found out that Expedia charged us $60 above the rate we would’ve been charged had I just called the hotel directly. They completely misled us. So do stay here, but don’t use Expedia to book it. We will return in the future and booked directly with the hotel. Also, the hotel delivers breakfast in the morning and it’s delicious! Highly recommend."

"Great location. Not full of tourists like other places near the town. Otter Creek is a great middle ground and just a short drive from everything Acadia has to offer. Would come again!"

"My room was very cozy and well equipped. The breakfast on Sunday was marvellous! Thank you to Elizabeth and Mike for four true days of vacation in their Freedom House! One point maybe worth mentioning: the bed was quite soft. But this is a matter of personal preferences."

"Mark and Mathilda are gracious hosts, the property is beautiful and serene, and the accommodations are top notch. Highly recommend!"

"The staff was incredibly friendly. The location was for convenient to downtown restaurants, and close to a hiking trail. I wish I had done more research on the particular room we stayed in. I thought we were staying in the main house, which I liked the aesthetic of more. The Rocklynn is basic in comparison. But that's my own fault for not doin the research. "
