A little difficult to find the road up to the place but a wonderful location with great views. It’s out of town so if you’re not dining there you’ll need to drive to one of the many local restaurants. The restaurant at the hotel is actually closed in a Monday and Tuesday which was a pity as we were looking forward to a nice evening meal. The wine on offer is amazing as you would have guessed. Breakfast was very good but we were initially asked to pay although it said it was included at the time...

Excellent location next to local art centre (Kunsthalle) with secure parking in underneath garage. Good public transport into city centre. Great facilities, well presented breakfast - small meals available throughout day and evening. Rooms comfortable and staff super friendly and knowledgeable.

This was my fourth visit to this hotel. I find it exceptionally welcoming and convenient.

We had an amazing stay. The hotel is perfect. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff (especially when we did not understand all the German instructions!). The choice at breakfast was vast! The pools are accessible and clean- having robes in the room with slippers and a bag to take poolside made it easy! The roof terrace was a gorgeous place to sit. Very clean room bed linen,towels were spotless. The beds were very comfortable too. Friendly staff.

The hotel is great but would be nice if they had more activities for children. The airline is so creative with small gifts for kids when you board a plane they could try and extend that in some way to the hotel experience.
