"Beautiful chateau lost in the countryside about 25 minutes From Bayeaux. Lovely spacious rooms and bathrooms, vast grounds and impressive drive. No restaurant but we ate superbly and very reasonably at le Marsala in Bayeaux."

"Reception staff spoke excellent English which made checking-in easy. Our room was clean, air-conditioned and spacious. The bed was comfortable and they supplied an extra pilow promptly when asked. Dining was straight forward. We had dinner at the grillright next door once and ate breakfast there both mornings. The food was good. Thers is also A Macdonalds close by for the less discerning. Lots of restaurants in the town - ewhich is a short drive away, but easy to navigate."

"Good place to stay the night before our return trip on the ferry early the next day. With easy access to the old town the tram stops outside the venue. Staff were really helpful and helped us to get in to town and use the tram. The restaurant has a great atmosphere as does the roof top bar."

"We stayed here two nights. The room was comfortable and the AC worked great. The staff was particularly helpful, especially Aurelia at the front desk. She helped with dinner reservations and taxi transportation needs. She was always friendly and willing to help."

"Loved the old feeling and character of the building. We were a family of 4 and had lots of room. What would have been a small issues was the toilet kept running. The front desk sent someone up but they said we just needed to jiggle and flush multiple times. After their bogus answer I looked and there were two issues both looked to be caused from hard water. The float was sticking and so was the plug it was hanging up after flushing. If they would have said sorry we don’t have parts but will...

"Well placed if you've just come off the ferry or you're sailing early in the morning. Secure parking, straightforward breakfast. Small rooms but great for a quick stopover place."

"The room was like a tiny box with hardly any room to move around. The bed was comfortable and the bedding of good quality. It looked old and tired. The outside of the room was very unappealing, shutters tightly shut and dirty paintwork, grubby is the right adjective. Breakfast was excellent. I understood when I made the booking that dinner was served at the hotel. This was not the case. Consequently, we had to go out to find somewhere to eat. Industrial estates don't have restaurants.
