"This was our 8th trip to The Maldives and 2nd time here. We love the convenience of a 15 minute speedboat ride to a great resort for a short stopover at the end of a longer trip. Rooms are comfortable, underwater restaurant AMAZING and massages first class. We actually persuaded another couple we met to stay here rather than Male for an overnight before their flight. It really is that convenient and we will stay here again."

"Nice resort 1 hour speedboat from Male. Main reason we stayed here was for snorkelling on the house reef which was pretty good, heaps of fish, sharks, rays, octopus and turtles, however the coral is not as healthy as other resorts we have stayed at. Food was good, especially at The Grill. All inclusive drinks list suited us. Staff were excellent and very attentive and spoilt me on my birthday. We had a beach bungalow which was comfortable with great shower, comfortable bed and close to the main restaurant and bar. Overwater bungalows looked good too. Good resort if you don’t want to fly out of Male."

"The Kagi experience was brilliant from the welcome at the airport before transfer to the island. The transfer to the hotel was an amazing journey and the staff welcome with drinks beautiful. The room was extremely big and that mini bar wow!!, bath tub outdoor including extra shower, now that’s luxury encoded. Had the same housekeeper, what an amazing young man. The food was beautifully made, restaurant staff well mannered and interactive. Thumbs up to the chef🫶.Had my nails redone and massage at the Spa with beautiful ladies. Samira thank you 🙏 for always being attentive and a text away. Sanjita mad love to you for putting up with a million questions. Massive thank you for the birthday surprise cakes. You are all amazing ❤️"

"We had an incredible stay at Oblu Lobigili wait to return. The resort is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views, crystal-clear waters, and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The staff were exceptional, friendly, attentive, and always going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. A special thank you to Sarah, our island hostess, who made our experience truly amazing with her kindness and outstanding service. The restaurants were fantastic, offering delicious food, great variety, and excellent service throughout our stay. Our special mention to ONLYBlu restaurant, what a great experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a perfect Maldives getaway."

My child had the best time enjoying all the activities, the beach, and the beautiful surroundings. Honestly, I would give this place more than 100 stars if I could! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you are looking for a paradise vacation that is relaxing, safe, luxurious, and perfect for families, I highly recommend the Maldives. "What an incredible place! The views, the peace, the sheer beauty, everything was all we wanted and more. The staff are incredibly helpful and the kindest we have ever encountered. Naseem was our island host who felt more like a friend, helpful, attentive and caring. Ravi, the cleaner for our beach villas was faultless! He works so hard and kept everywhere pristine, was always happy and left beautiful decorations on our bed using grass reeds! Puja, our favourite waitress in the market, took care of our family of six at every meal time. There are so many people to thank for our amazing stay! We will be back again one day! We miss everyone and everything about this place. If you are undecided where to go, Joy Island should definitely be somewhere you pick!!"

"Unfortunately my wife had a fall, broke her arm and required hospitalisation and surgery. The staff of the resort were fantastic, supportive and so caring. The resort is immaculate and has everything one could want from an island holiday in paradise. While the resort is of a high standard and maintained, the building safety standards are well below those in Australia. However, this is consistently the case with most properties in many countries, so watch out for the tripping hazards! Having said that, this is a wonderful resort with outstanding staff."
