"Location is great but I had some issues with the room. Floor was sticky with floor cleaning solution, seems to be common in Croatia. Fridge did not work at all which is tough when you want some cold water in the heat and store snacks for long stays. Remotes with dead batteries. Light bulbs burned out. Host has strange rules, not client focused. With some improvements this could be a great stay. "

"Splendida was a fabulous hotel in the heart of Split. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay an excellent experience. The included breakfast was the best and our room was spacious with a large balcony. The area the hotel is located in is dirty, however--no fault of the hotel!"

"The apartment was clean and extremely well-equipped. The staff members were friendly, polite and exceptionally helpful. The breakfasts were excellent - varied, attractively-presented and featuring an impressive range of local produce. Shops were nearby, and within two hundred metres we could walk to Diocletian's Palace, the waterfront and two markets,as well as to the ferry port and bus station."

"MA de Dominis Is a lovely boutique in the center of old town split located within the walls of the palace! Prior to your arrival Ivana, the owner, messages you to give you information on how to get to the property and to see if you will need a car service set up. Upon arrival I was greeted by her lovely daughter Antonela who showed me to the room. Right from the start it was very apparent that there was a lot of love put into the property! "This location is right outside the Palace but in a plaza attached to it, making it quieter than some hotels inside the palace. The communication with the staff was great, even though there wasn’t anyone onsite. It was clean, comfortable and just what I was needing. "

"I enjoyed the two nights I stayed at Irini. They have a nice, new hotel with an elevator and modern rooms- very well appointed, comfortable and very friendly staff! They sent a video of how to find the entrance, which helped a lot because it is hidden, like many places in Old Town area. Good communication. Breakfast was delicious with many choices. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer."
