"The apartments are beautiful and in an excellent location. Close to the beach and an amazing array of places to eat and drink, I couldn’t recommend the location highly enough. The pool area is also lovely. Unfortunately there is construction work next door (May 2024) which looks like it may be some time away from finishing. "Never ever book this hotel even if you get free deal. Worst ever experience. I travel globally but never had such a bad experience anywhere. They literally don’t pick up your call if you need anything. The shower gel was finished and I made complaint 3 times, still they didn’t refill it. Also bathroom shower gel dispenser was broken before I checked in and they thought I broke it. Later on confessed that it was their mistake. The reception staff is not at all polite. "

"Room and bathroom were spacious. I liked the water dispenser in the room which also provided instant hot water. Pool area was lovely and we had it to ourselves one afternoon. There is a spa in the hotel, recommend the foot and Balinese massage. Staff were very friendly. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops nearby."

"Mother and adult daughter stayed here for 10 days. Staff were amazing and helpful. Enjoyed the pool, good sized rooms, furnishings were a bit dated. Restuarant was great. Easy to book and great food"

"Utterly terrible accommodation and terrible service - Room was ready an hour late, then not clean with junk food and trash still left about, walls smeared with dirty handprints, stained couches, broken floor and stair tiles, broken lights, shower dirty and rusty, toilet blocked, no hot water. Seriously! After one night of regrettably sleeping there, awoke with my legs covered in bed bug/flea bites (took weeks to heal). Complaints to the three reception staff were a total waste of effort and...

"You get what you paid for. On positive note .Was private safe and reasonably quite. Bedding clean changed sheets every day .Unit cleaned everyday . All essential shopping close by. "Absolutely disgusting place. Unhygienic and unsafe for a child/ any family. It instantly smelt of rats and it was clear the apartment had not been cleaned. Multiple dead animals were found, including cockroaches in the shower. The utensil cupboard, which smelt horrendous, was clear that rats were living in there as multiple rat droppings would appear daily. The people were nice but I believe it was unnecessary that 3 adults (2 men and 1 women) show up, on my first night, at the door at 11pm. I...

"Villa Kayu Raja is in a good location, but not really walkable to restaurants or the beach, especially at night. The sidewalk ends a bit before the villa, so you’re left walking in the busy street. The villa itself is nice, but I was unimpressed with the private pool. It is very small and the yard itself is deceiving in size from the pictures. Virtually no sunlight comes into the pool area as well, so the pool is a bit chilly and you aren’t able to do any sun tanning. The price is a bit steep...
