"This is a unique and very special traditional lodge. Well-appointed cabins all face the lake, and there are walking and biking paths all around. We had an excellent dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed live piano music in the bar. This place is a jewel."
"The property is pretty old and rundown. Needs to be remodeled/upgraded at least our regular room. Positives: room has everything one needs like a bed, hairdryer, small fridge/freezer (ours had a broken handle). tub/shower, chest of drawers, and lights near the bed and ice provided. "Check in was a bit of a nightmare. They told us they didn’t have a room for us and asked us to wait then forgot why we were waiting. Then they said they’d upgrade us but then changed their minds and gave us the original room we had booked. The bathroom shower had hair blocking the drain and q-tips on the ground. I was still impressed with the size of the property but wished we could have enjoyed them a bit more."
