"Upon arriving we were impressed with the appeal of this property. The staff were at Reception to meet us. We were given a quick tour of the amenities, and shown to our room which was clean and light. The bathrooms and showers are lovely and there is a separate room with a deep bath. "I stayed for 3 nights during local trail running race event. The place is really tidy and well maintained. I sensed the owners' passion for this place and Tongariro region. The kitchen is spacious, has large fridges and everything you need. You can bring your own food and cook without any hassles. The lounge is even better with pool table and table tennis table. There are two decent restaurants, a petrol station and 4-square supermarket nearby, so you can find all the essentials. "
