This compares to a nearby hotel I paid AUD45 that was more comfortable but had to move from because of noise; trains and karaoke bar. If worried about getting woken by the trains, ask for a room away from the road. Hotel offers a small roof top resturant to enjoy a drink and meal in the evening "

"Staff is courteous, helpful and professional. Was very accommodating to check me in early (4am!) as I took an overnight bus that arrived in the early morning. Hotel dining is good value-for-money, especially since almost all of Mandalay is shut down early in the evening and is quite difficult for tourists to find food outside of the hotels. Room is clean and well-maintained. Shower facility is great! Try their massage service too... The Burmese style."
