"The staff at Bannisters always go above & beyond whenever we stay. Most recently a friend and I booked accommodation for our wives to stay for an early Mothers day present. I informed admin staff via email and a wonderful lady at reception by the name of Jessica upgraded rooms for our wives & also left them a complementary bag of chocolates made by a local confectionery business. "Aside from a short black out due to the council's poorly maintained infrastructure, the stay was delightful. Although, when requesting another towel it would have been nice to have not been met with quite strong resistance from one of the staff in the park. But aside from that the location was amazing, the view supreme and the accommodation delightful and comfortable."

"The cabin was a nice but did have paint peeling off bathroom wall. Lots of things for the kids to do, games room, water slides & big playground. Would go again for sure."

"We had a wonderful stay at Sinclairs Country Retreat. The private rooms are very comfortable, and we were lucky to have a lovely terrace overlooking the garden, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The owners were kind and friendly. Breakfast was very good overall; in my opinion, it could be improved with a bit more fresh fruit and some savory options (such as eggs and ham). Overall, the price-quality ratio is excellent, and we would definitely recommend staying here."

"Had a 2 bedroom lakeside cabin with beautiful view. Cabin was spacious, clean and comfortable with a very well equiped kitchen with everything you would ever need. Porch overlooking lake had table with seating for 6 and bbq which was immaculately clean. Upon arrival had problem with tv, which by the way was a big screen which you don’t get to often, went to report it to reception and the staff member was already at the cabin when I returned. All in all would highly recommend."

"The owner was very supportive when Expedia completely stuffed up my reservation! I was told I came the week before! Luckily the owner was kind and understanding to let me use the only available room, which was very nice. Roomy, comfy, all you needed. Wifi was no good so hot spot. Convenient location near shops. Quiet at night I will never use Expedia again. But Bay and Basin was value for money."
