"Great location, very close to Alaxenderplaz (train, Ubahn, Sbahn, trams). Easy to walk to a lot of places.
The bed was VERY comfortable and it would have been a very god night’s seep had it not been for the noise from the road. The location overlooks Karl-Marks Allee and that gets used as a drag racing track for a lot of the night - ask for a room at the back.
There was WiFi but it did not work in the room. There was a fault with the wireless access point that covered our room and they were...

"The hotel is very well situated, besode check point Charlie and a couple of monutes from the Metro. The stuff in the reception was super helpful and willing to help, very nice. The only negative point is that the small refrigerator was not working, they don’t give mini bar service anymore so the fridge is disconnected and we can not keep cold things that is always useful

"The hotel is really well positioned for sightseeing and transport links. All staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were kept very clean.
Lots of local restaurants and bars and one, Avan, in the hotel itself which was good.
We had a junior suite which was really spacious and met all our needs and the mattress was great allowing a sound sleep."

"The breakfast was very good with a large selection of food. Staff friendly.
The main problem with my room was that it was on the 1st floor and faced the main road. The neon lights from the buildings shone into the room all night. The curtains do not provide a black out so the room was light all night.
Fridge was noisy and air conditioning did not cool the room substantially.
I would use the hotel again but in a different room.
