"We chose this hotel because it is a half mile from the airport and we had an early morning (5:50am) departure. The online description highlights “Free Airport transport”. As we checked in and said that we needed a shuttle at 3:45, we were informed that shuttles started at either 5:00 or 5:30! Although the webpage says free airport shuttle, you have to open additional pop-ups to see the information saying that hours were limited. In the end I had to order an Uber to get to the airport on time....

"The front desk staff person that we worked with was incredibly helpful, friendly, and accommodating. We had a unique situation with two adults and 15 students. She gave the chaperones keys to all the student rooms, allowed us to use the breakfast area for dinner, watched cameras to allow us better control of the students and any issues that could have arisen. "I always enjoy staying at hotel Millwork- centrally located, unique transformation of an old woolen mill into a modern hotel. This stay was overall good. 4/5 only because they’re one option for breakfast, which is their restaurant, was not operational the morning I left because apparently the waitress didn’t show up. There were very few other options in the Amana‘s for breakfast and the staff really had no solution to the problem. Otherwise, a good stay."

"The Trail Inn was cute and charming right in the center of amana. You could walk to all the shops and restaurants near by to the cutest German stores. The rooms were clean and well kept and staff was attentive if there were any questions."

"This turned out to be a very pleasant stay for a value-priced hotel! For an older facility, we found the beds comfortable, linens spotless, water pressure strong, and the room perfectly clean. There is a small fitness room with free weights, an elliptical, recumbent bike, and two treadmills. "During the night right after we retired (around 12 or 12:30 pm) several individuals were on the sidewalk right next to our unit #101 Efficiency King. They were talking very loud (sometimes shouting) and had rap music playing loudly. (It sounded like they were in the next room of OUR suite! After listening to it for over an hour, we called the front desk to complain. It took 2 calls to the desk and over an hour before they were quiet. The breakfast was also very disappointing!"
