"After reading some of the reviews, I was a bit worried about my stay. However, I can say I was very pleased. The staff were friendly, the grounds were clean. The rooms were attended to daily and restocked. There was not a large selection of places to eat, but you were not going hungry. People will always find a reason to write a negative review. Would there be more selection at a Riu?? Of course, but it is high we quality food? No. Of your expecting 5 star food all inclusives may not be your thing. What we saved staying here made it possible to do and see more than we ever have. Thank you for a great time. If we make it back to puerto vallarta we would stay again"

"I’ve been going here for about three or four years love this place. It is absolutely the most consistently pleasurable resort. I’ve been too. It is nice simple beautiful quiet. It’s the perfect place to go if you just want to relax. If you’re looking for a resort with a bunch of hoopla and madness and a bunch of wild people this is not your place if you’re looking for someplace to just relax enjoy the ocean. Enjoy the pool. Enjoy a good food and absolutely phenomenal service and lay back and relaxed that this is the spot to be! "
