"There were bugs on our bed. Not bedbugs, but small black bugs. I was grossed out.
Thankfully, the hotel was able to move us to another room and we did not see any bugs or anything out of the ordinary in the 2nd room."

"You could tell that they spend a lot of time trying to get things right. The motel was mostly clean, but it was obvious they have moisture issues because there was a dehumidifier in the room, which was fine. The problem was that the plastic water reservoir in the dehumidifier was moldy. There was also a very strong smell of Lysol in the room that made my eyes burn, and they continued to bother me for a few days after our stay.
We also went to the front desk to ask where the ice machine was, but...

"Lovely property! The different areas to relax and enjoy the area were a nice touch. Perfectly located in Door County. Clean and the breakfast was very enjoyable. Would return!"
