"We booked this hotel, even though it was more expensive than the Hampton Inn, largely because of its emphasis on a “really great breakfast.” Breakfast is important to us, so we thought the higher rate might be worth it. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. First, there weren’t even tea bags in the room, so if hot tea is your favorite morning beverage, you have to get dressed and head downstairs before you can have your first cup. "What an incredible place in the mountains right off the blue ridge parkway. The views are unbelievable. The restaraunt and bar were the perfect place to end the night. Even managed to find some vegan options.
Great stop for our motorcycle trip but really anyone in the area has a reason to stay here."

"Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead.
The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use.
They have a common use area with a ktichen and grills that can be utilized which is an added bonus as I don’t recall reading about all they had available to make the stay above and beyond expectations....
