"We spent 3 nights and 4 days during spring break and with our family and friends, everything was so convenient and onsite. Yosemite was just a couple of miles away and a lot of fun activities in the lodge itself for the kiddos and family. They give out bikes for a trial behind at no cost. If you have a 4-5 year old, take a small bike along. Rest they can provide. Also had fun activities like rock climbing. You can still drive down nearby for fun food and restaurants or DoorDash (glamping). But still get to spend all day hiking at the falls or the trees. Overall, well worth it. Our friends a few years ago did a whole cottage. We just got rooms next to each other and kids were able to hang out in the evenings. Staff was very considerate and accommodating. All in all, highly recommend! I’ll probably go back again to explore more. "

"Rented this as a nice 3 bedroom house inside Yosemite Park. When we got there, it was late and the code didn’t work, so we couldn’t get in. Had to drive to nearest town to get phone service to get hold of Grand Welcome to change the code. Then, when we got there, there were ants everywhere, kitchen, bathroom, bedding. Tried to get help, was told ants were a common issue in mountain dwellings - just use ant spray to kill them - didn’t work! Host would not give a reasonable refund, even though we toughed it out! Complete disappointment!"
