"Convenience: located within the medieval walls of Rothenburg. The valet parked our car, and we walked everywhere. Close to restaurants, activities, and shops. Runs a little like a BNB. Beautiful: the area is gorgeous, and the hotel is 750+ years old, which makes it charming and interesting. Food: dinner is amazing - the best meal we had in Germany and Austria on a 2-week trip. NOTE: the restaurant closes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so make an effort to get there on the other days - well worth...

"Large room and comfortable bed with clean sheets and towels. There is no AC and although we had a fan it was very hot. Parking is a short walk away and 12€ per night. Shower wasn’t draining properly. Great location."

"The rooms are lovely and peaceful. The shared kitchen is very well equipped and the Mango Tango tea is delicious. Staff are incredibly helpful and location is ideal for visiting the old town. Highly recommend this hotel."

"We had a lovely room tucked in the eaves. It was clean and comfortable with lovely coffee and tea facilities. Despite the outside temperature being pretty hot,we were able to sleep. Car parking great, staff welcome excellent. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on food."

"Excellent location and beautiful hotel. We were there during the heat wave and there’s no AC. It was probably 80 degrees in our room. The staff was very nice to give us an extra table fan but it was still very hot until 4 am when it cooled off outside. We opened all of the windows and propped the front door. It was cooler in the hallway than our room. I would still stay there again, we might just buy our own fans next time."

"Well run hotel, excellant staff and services. Bed was perfect, TV was full service, our room had nice views. Good parking garage. They have what must be best restaurant in town, liver, kidneys, plus all standard fare. Wine sampling. Restaurant service was top top with class!"

"The property was quaint and right in the heart of the beautiful town. My husband and our two children (17&18) enjoyed the stay very much. Mike was very hospitable and he made sure we were well taken care of. Breakfast was great and everything was very clean. We will definitely stay here again!"

"This is a very nice hotel. We were lucky to get a room with AC and grateful for that given the heat! The breakfast is nice though not as extensive as some other places we stayed in Germany. Overall a great stay and very conveniently located to see all the beautiful sights! I would def recommend it."
