"This hotel was an overnight stop on the way home from Holiday. They were clearly exactly that for most of the customers but did it really well.
The hotel is aging a little bit but the staff were excellent and they catered really well for parents with kids, would definitely use it again when passing through."
"Overall, the hotel is very good – the facilities are excellent, and the food was outstanding. However, one of the rooms we were given was extremely small, to the point where it felt like a design mistake by the architect. Additionally, since it was summer, it got quite hot and the hotel does not have air conditioning, which made it uncomfortable at times. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay."
"Clean and well maintained hotel, ideal for stopover for a night or two. Friendly staff, clean room and Well stocked breakfast. 2 free to use EV chargers for guests. "
"Very poor communication. Got a message in French on how to check in after hours. Requested the have that message sent in English, but no reply, so we had struggled to find location, the key codes, the boxes which had the room key in.
It’s a Uni campus, very complicated to get to, to check in and when speaking to other travellers/customers, they found the whole check in process very difficult.
Do not recommend, unless you like a challenge. "
"It was a real pleasure to stay at the ô Rouge. All the staff made us and our little baby feel super comfortable and welcome. The place is so beautiful, design and nature collide perfectly. Every morning you wake up by the wineyards, just a few minutes from the village centre, maybe two by car and 5 of walking. Will come back for sure."
"Ce fut une expérience époustouflante, jamais nous n’aurions imaginé dormir dans un véritable château, à ce point authentique, historique et romantique. Le personnel est absolument délicieux, vous pouvez vous restaurer sur place et boire du bourgogne sur la terrasse, vous pouvez siroter votre champagne dans un bain Norvégien caché au milieu des jardins. C’est une expérience que nous n’oublierons pas , car nous étions comme des hôtes privilégiés. Le château est un musée qui reflète les époques de...
"Excellent choice for those seeking a hotel with regional character. Central but quiet, clean, breakfast available and many of Beaune’s best restaurants within a few blocks (reservations required but there are lots of brasserie options if you can’t book a fancy place)"
