"Charming "Frenchiness", well preserved building with tasteful interior design; not "boutiqued". Well located in a lively neighborhood, still a quiet register once in the hotel. The attached Café also deserves credit, as a complement to the hotel per se. I'll repeat the selection when in Marseille again."

"What a fun and fabulous hotel! The staff was extremely helpful and bilingual, which was wonderful since my Spanish is a bit rusty. The location makes it easy to access all the sites in the historical part of the city. The old buildings and tunnels to access various parts of the hotel were stunning. The room was comfortable and updated with a spa shower. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Sevilla."

"This property lacks staff, which makes unexpected situations difficult to resolve. For example, it has a lovely rear garden for guests' use. However, access to it is through a door which is locked or unlocked as guests remember. I was locked outside, by an inattentive hotel staff member no less, who locked the door from the interior without checking to see if anyone was outside. I was trapped in the garden for 45 minutes until another guest happened to come downstairs, saw me, and unlocked...

"Very comfortable and well appointed room and service was top-notch. The hotel is well situated for walking around Marseille and for easy access to transit. The only draw-back was that our room was up four flights of stairs, so if that’s a problem for you, be sure to request a room on a lower floor!"

"A great hotel away from the busy old port but in walking distance to shops and restaurants. The hotel has a very nice restaurant and rooftop bar with a great view. The rooms and washroom are clean and spacious. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend this hotel!"

"Great location, especially if going to watch football as the Orange Velodrome is just a few mins walk away. There is a metro station a stone's throw from the hotel and also bus services too so ideal base for visiting the area. Breakfast really good too. I'd definitely stay again. "
