"Nice place with good breakfast and pool. Note it’s more of a lodge style place and not a regular hotel. You’ll need a car to reach most places in Chamonix centre and most lifts, we had a rental and did not check out any buses.

"The night I arrived the entry codes worked however, there was someone else in my assigned room. It was late in the evening, and I called the hotel support. Luckily, [and by chance] they were able to get me into another room [which was not what I had reserved]. The light in the bathroom did not work. "This was literally the absolute worst hotel (really, it was more like a hostel) that I have stayed in either stateside or abroad. The property only allows you to communicate with them during two short periods daily around check-in and out. Their information indicates check in is not on the property.
